Hester Pogue

Description

A small woman past eighty with a set blonde wave, enormous tinted spectacles and a pink cardigan, never without a cup and saucer in her hands. She knows where every file in the building is and how long it has been there.

Personality

Brisk, fussy and fond of anyone who takes an interest in the building. She keeps the kettle on, the fire lit and the docket in order, and she has never once been asked an interesting question by a magistrate.

Background

Clerk of the Hogsmeade sitting for sixty years, as her mother and grandmother were before her. She keeps the courthouse's records, its Floo powder and its tea.

Story

Nervous all night in Session 17 - The Court Sits, and the party's favourite suspect for most of it. Survived.
