Description

A cut red diamond a little smaller than a robin's egg, held between finger and thumb without much trouble and worth more than most families see in a lifetime. The colour is deep and even, the sort of stone that catches candlelight and holds it. Wrapped in a plain square of cloth, it looks like nothing at all.

Value: 12,500 galleons.

Story

Arthur sent Bridget down to the vault to fetch it during the summer gathering, and passed it to Edward Floo in front of the party. Invisible, Caoimhe picked Floo's pocket and took it. That night the party planted it out on the grounds to make it look as though Floo had dropped it. Nettle found it there and brought it in, and Arthur was heard shouting at him, demanding to know where he had got it. See Session 15 - The Party at Noxley Hall.

The stone is back in Arthur's hands. The party held it for a few hours and gave it up on purpose.
