Description

This elegant fountain pen is crafted from dark mahogany wood with silver accents that catch the light. The initials "ST" are engraved in flowing script near the cap, worn smooth from years of handling.

Mechanics

The pen functions as a normal writing instrument, though it never seems to run out of ink. It writes in a deep emerald green that has a faint shimmer when viewed in certain light.

The pen is actually a magical object that can reveal hidden text when used to write specific phrases. It once belonged to Stefan Thorne, Caoimhe's father, who left it behind in Glenvale twelve years ago during Ministry business.

The pen can also detect magical signatures when held near enchanted objects, causing the ink to glow slightly brighter.

Notes

This pen was found by Caoimhe Keelan on her mother Aisling's desk in their home in Glenvale. It's the only connection she has to her unknown father, who passed through the village twelve years ago and never returned. Caoimhe believes herself to be Muggle-born, but the pen suggests a more complicated heritage—one her mother has never explained.
