Alana Braxton

Description

A small, round-faced seventh-year with a Prefect's badge pinned very straight and a satchel that clinks faintly when she walks. She hums under her breath when she concentrates, and apologises before she speaks.

Personality

Friendly, timid and eager to help. She is the first to offer a handkerchief, a cup of tea or a kind word, and the last to raise her voice. People forget she is in the room, which she does not seem to mind.

Background

A Hufflepuff Prefect and N.E.W.T. candidate in six subjects, and Bixby Wizzlethorpe's teaching assistant, with keys to the Hogwarts potions stores. She found the three first-years Elias Flint hazed and is the witness against him at the Hogsmeade Halloween sitting.

Story

Unmasked as the courthouse killer in Session 17 - The Court Sits: she ran, Finlay glued her to the floor, and Otto pinned her until the Ministry came.
