Description
A young dragon the size of a carthorse, rough black scales, purple eyes, and a ridge of shallow spines down its back. It breathes fire, and it is faster in the air than anything on this coast.
Background
The Hebridean Black is Scotland's native dragon, kept on the islands by the MacFusty clan, who have managed them for centuries. A juvenile that strays off the islands is a MacFusty problem by law and a Ministry one by the time it burns something. Killing one is a serious matter. Talking one down is rarer, and not unheard of.
